It is essential and recommended to keep your projector up-to-date with the
latest Android TV system software. This allows you to take advantage of the
latest features, application improvements and bug fixes. For more details
about system upgrade instruction and improvements, please read through
the following:

Before System Upgrade
Please connect your Android TV system to the Internet to receive up-to-
date system firmware
Please make sure to plug in the AC power for a stable power supply
Please update all your apps before installing v00.03.00.16
Please update the system to v00.02.00.20 before installing v00.03.00.06
to avoid system crash.
Things to note for the system update:
It would take few minutes to complete the install and update
Make sure to connect your projector to a stable AC power outlet before
beginning the process. Do not use portable power sources or battery
power
Stay in the update screen and do not change screens while the process
is ongoing
Your projector will restart during and after the update process until you
see the Android TV main screen again
Please update Android TV system by following instruction

Download and Upgrade System
The process to update the software varies. Follow the instructions accordingly.
Step1
Go to Play Store to download/update BenQ Notification to v2.1.7.3 or the later
version

Select BenQ System Update, and click Check for v00.02.00.20 system
firmware. If your system is updated to v00.02.00.20, please go to Step7.

Click Download to download v00.02.00.20 system firmware

Go to BenQ Notification again, and select BenQ System Update, and click
Check for v00.03.00.06 system firmware as the following picture

Reconnection and reactivation could be required for Bluetooth device, remote
control pairing, wireless projection, and network after system upgrade.
