Make Your IRA Contributions
If you haven’t already made your IRA
contribution for tax year 2023, now is the
time. You have until April 15, 2024 to
make your 2023 contribution and you can
also make your 2024 contribution now.
Remember, the earlier you make your IRA
contribution, the faster your tax-deferred or
tax-free earnings will grow. The Traditional
and Roth IRA contribution limit for 2023
for qualied individuals under age 50 is
$6,500.00.* For those age 50 or older,
the contribution limit is $7,500.00.*
The limits for 2024 have changed. The Traditional and Roth IRA contribution limit
for 2024 for qualied individuals under age 50 is $7,000.00; for those age 50 or older,
the contribution limit is $8,000.00
If you make your contributions through payroll deduction or direct deposit, make
sure you are taking advantage of the limits and stop in to the credit union to increase
them now.
*Your IRA contributions are limited to 100% of your taxable compensation. To make a regular contribution of $7,500.00
for 2023, you or your spouse must have earned at least $7,500.00 in 2023.
Direct Deposit Your Tax Refund
The easiest, fastest and safest way to receive your IRS and State Income Tax Refunds is
to have them direct deposited to your savings or checking account. Simply ll in the
refund section of your tax return with the credit union’s routing number –
211381518 – and your savings or checking account number. Your refunds will
be transmitted directly to your credit union account and you won’t be waiting for the
checks to arrive in the mail.
