For Drafting, Design, Modeling, and Rendering Software

NOTE:

The following are the hardware and software specifications for installing and supporting the design software

used for courses taken in TSTC’s Drafting and Design Technology programs, including Architectural/Civil

Drafting, Architectural Design and Engineering Graphics, and Engineering Graphics and Design. For systems

which do not meet Minimum-Level Requirements, please ask your instructor for more information.

System Requirements for 2022 Versions of AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Lumion (Windows)

(Mac OS computers are NOT supported or recommended)

Recommended: Intel/AMD Processor scoring a single thread CPUMark of 2200 or higher

(Such as the AMD Ryzen 5 2600, Intel Core i7-4790 or better) Use the following link for

REQUIRED: Internet service is required to activate all software. Internet service is

required to launch SolidWorks and Lumion.
