Speciﬁcations

ComfortDRAW’s built-in Speciﬁcation Assembler presents the user with

a tree of project components, broken down by category. The user can

then select which speciﬁc components to include in the speciﬁcation,

like hardware, communications wire, operator interfaces, and sensors.

Once the components have been chosen, press the “Generate

Speciﬁcation” button to output a detailed speciﬁcation to Microsoft

Word, where it can be viewed ormodiﬁed.

Sequence of Operations:

ComfortDRAW can also be used to create a sequence of operations. A

library of complete sequences and partial sequences are available to

choose from. Simply click the “New Sequence” button to begin, and

then click “Add” to pick components from the library. After all library

components have been chosen, select the “Generate Sequence” button

and the sequence of operation will be created in Microsoft Word where

it can be viewed ormodiﬁed.

Design Tools:

With the easy-to-use Microsoft Visio interface and the powerful

diagramming capabilities of the ComfortDRAW Controls Design Suite,

sales engineers can quickly assemble diagrams using custom-made

Carrier shapes, and view the data associated with those shapes.

Engineers can even modify shapes with easy-to-use Visio drawing tools.
