Drive Test Waiver for Taiwan Nationals

NRS 483.245

This waiver must be completed if you are a Taiwanese national at least 21 years of age or older

and are requesting a waiver of a drive test. You must be a resident of Nevada to be eligible for a

non-commercial driver’s license or driver authorization card (DAC) (NRS 483.250, 483.290 &

483.141).

I understand that the reciprocal agreement between the State of Nevada (NV DMV) and the

Republic of China (Taiwan) is to waive the drive test only. All other requirements must be met.

Furthermore, I understand that my Taiwan license will be verified with the Consular Officer of the

Taipei Economic & Cultural Office. Any discrepancy of information provided to the NV DMV may

result in the delay of issuance or cancellation of my NV driving privilege.

I hereby certify, under penalty of perjury, that all statements in this waiver are true and correct. I

agree and understand that any misstatement of material facts may cause cancellation and/or denial

of my Nevada license under NRS 483.420 and NRS 483.530, respectively. I further understand

that any misstatement of facts may be a misdemeanor or felony under NRS 483.530 and may be

punishable pursuant to NRS 193.130.
