Brothers all. I am submitting myself as a candidate for reelection as Supreme
Director, Region No. 11. I am a 35 Year member of Laurel Forest No. 130, Tall
Cedars of Lebanon of North America in Connecticut. I served as Grand Tall Cedar
in 2004 and 2005 and presently as Scribe/Treasurer. I was awarded the John S.
Broughton Award for 2020 by Supreme Tall Cedar, William W. Martz.
My Masonic career began on November 12, 1983 when I was raised as a Master
Mason in Uriel Lodge No. 24 of Merrow Connecticut. I served Uriel Lodge as
Master in 1987 and 1992. I’m a dual member of Ionic Lodge No. 110 of North
Windham Connecticut and served as Master in 1990, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1998,
2000 and 2009 and now serve as Treasurer.
I have served in leadership roles in many Connecticut Masonic bodies as follows:
• Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Connecticut – 2007
• District Deputy for the Grand Master 1994 and 1995
• High Priest, Royal Arch Masons, 3 years
• Most Excellent Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons – 2001
• Most Excellent President, Anointed High Priests – 1996.
• rice Illustrious Master, Royal and Select Masters, 2 years.
• Eminent Commander, Knights Templar in 1991.
• Monarch of Hejaz Grotto – 2013.
• Royal Patron, Order of the Amaranth, 5 years.
• Grand Royal Patron, Order of the Amaranth – 1994
• Worthy Patron Order of the Eastern Star, 11 years.
• Worthy Grand Patron, Order of the Eastern Star, in 2019 and due to COVID-19 pandemic served another year in 2020.
• Watchman of Shepherds, White Shrine of Jerusalem, 1992 and 1996.
• I am the Regional Representative for National Sojourners Inc.
A member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Masons in the Valley of Hartford and a Charter Member of the Nathan
Hale Consistory and the recipient of the Meritorious Service Award (MSA); a Noble and Past Treasurer of Sphinx Temple,
Shriners International.
I enjoy working with the Masonic Youth groups. I served as Chairman the Advisory Board of Willimantic Assembly No.
26, International Order of the Rainbow for girls for 25 years and on the Advisory Board of Norwich Assembly No. 30 for
several years. I served as a Grand Deputy in Connecticut for three years. In 1990 I was presented with the “Grand Cross of
Color” by the Supreme Assembly for Distinguished Services to the Order. I am also a past member of the State Executive
Ocer’s Sta of the Order of DeMolay in Connecticut and was State Chapter Dad in 2009. I am holder of the DeMolay
Appreciation Medal; the William Campbell Medal for distinguished DeMolay service; and Honorary DeMolay Legion of
Honor. In 1998 I was awarded the “Service to Youth Award” from the Grand Lodge of Connecticut.
My hobbies include photography, hiking, camping, shing, hunting, cooking, and traveling. My wife Sandie and he have
visited all but one of the fty states, six of the provinces of Canada, and have been to Mexico. We are members of National
Camping Travelers (NCT), District 1, Chapter 6. In addition, we enjoy the Ballet and the theater, as well as Country
Western music and Square Dancing. We also support endangered wildlife species programs.
