Create Landing Pages With MailChimp [3x Subscribers]
It’s hard to build an email list without using expensive software or building a custom
landing page.
That’s why I started using MailChimp’s free landing page builder. It helps me create and
host my lead magnets to capture new email subscribers.
I currently use MailChimp as my go-to email marketing platform. MailChimp has been
easy to use and it’s completely free to get started.
I’m going to teach you everything you need to know about creating and publishing a
landing page that can triple your subscribers.

Build Your Email List
If you haven’t added an opt-in form to your website, you’re missing out.
Over 60% of your website visitors will never come back.
That’s why it’s critical for you to start collecting email addresses on your website.
Getting an email address from a website visitor means they have given you permission to
stay in contact.
An email list is much more than a social following because you own your email list.
Social networks can crumble overnight, lose momentum, ban your account or shut down
altogether.
Take the time to build your community with email sign up forms.
Heres where you can put sign up forms on your website:
Exit Intent Popups Onload Popups
Between Posts Featured Box
Notication Bar Before Content
After Content Comment Registration
Sidebars Footer
Donation Forms Contact Forms
Get Newsletter Signups
Most websites will ask you to subscribe to their newsletter.
Newsletters are one of the best ways for your community to stay informed.
These type of recurring email campaigns are sent out to a large list of subscribers.

Campaign Monitor stated that your email campaigns are six times more likely to get
click-throughs than your tweets.
Types of newsletters you can send to subscribers:
1. Company News
2. Blog Updates
3. New Products & Discounts
4. Timely Updates
5. Industry News
Improve Email Marketing
Over 290 billion emails are sent and received every day….
..and 14.5 billion of those emails are spam.
So do you think people want to receive another email?
No, they don’t care unless you target their needs.
Create targeted landing pages with opt-in forms that speak directly to your potential
customers.
Once you’ve hooked your visitors, deliver value rst and sell them later.
Protip: Ask for rst name to personalize your future email campaigns.
Create MailChimp Landing Pages
Let’s create your rst landing page to start collecting email addresses.
Make sure you’ve registered for Mailchimp before we get started.
Below are the steps to create your Mailchimp landing page:
1. Login to the Mailchimp dashboard.
2. Click the “Campaigns” tab at the top left corner of the navigation
bar.
3. Now click the “Create Campaign” button at the top right below
the navigation bar.
4. Select “Landing Page” from the popup window.
5. Name your landing page and select the list you’d like to use.
6. Choose a premade template, I use the Lead Generation template.
7. Hover over any section you’d like to delete and click the remove
icon.
8. Edit each section by clicking the pencil edit icon.
9. Add any additional elements to a section from the “Content” tab
on the right.
10. Adjust any element or page style by opening the “Design” tab.
11. Preview your changes then click “Save & Close.
Easy “Point & Click” Landing Page Builder
Customer acquisition is nearly impossible without targeting the right audience.
The easiest way to start capturing targeted leads is by creating a targeted landing page.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the MailChimp landing page editor has many
editable elements.
It is by no means a replacement for Clickfunnels Landing Page Editor but it is feature-rich
for no additional cost.
Mailchimp’s premade templates make creating your landing pages a breeze.
Simply choose a template, remove unwanted sections and modify the rest of the page.
The ability to add products, call-to-actions, inline payment options and social call-outs
are all an added benet.
The “Design” tab allows you to make quick edits to any element style on the page.
MailChimp Landing Page Templates
There's a variety of premade MailChimp templates to choose from...
...eight templates ranging from basic to more advanced.
I personally use the “Lead Generation” for basic lead capture landing pages.
Mailchimp templates are editable and you can easily remove any section from the page.
In the future there will be more templates and features added to MailChimp’s editor.
These templates are a great foundation for creating your rst landing page with little
effort.
It’s easier than ever to create a beautiful, yet simplistic landing page to capture leads.
Alternative Landing Page Software
Mailchimp is a great email capturing platform when you are trying to save money…
…but when you need something more robust, what should you use?
Below is a short list of our favorite landing page softwares:
ClickFunnels – The Best Sales Funnel Builder
Have you heard of Russell Brunson?
He’s an internet marketer with decades of experience building sales funnels.
Russell needed a better way to create sales funnels and landing pages, so he build
ClickFunnels.
…it works really well and I assume it’s because of Russell’s obsession over customer
acquisition.
Anyways, if you have $97 a month to spare, I would highly recommend it.
LeadPages – The OG Landing Page Creator
LeadPages has been around for awhile and has always been a solid choice.
Creating landing pages has always been complicated, although LeadPages makes it easier
than ever.
The selling point for LeadPages is the amount of premade landing page templates they
currently offer.
If you’re a marketer who hasn’t tried LeadPages, I suggest you try it out.
Conclusion
Once you get started, generating leads online is pretty easy.
It all starts a proper landing page and a great lead magnet. If you have a solid offer for
your visitors, it will be much easier to build your list opposed to simply asking them to
sign up for a newsletter.
