Am I required to complete a daily Health Questionnaire as a vaccinated traveller?
No, fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from completing the daily Health Questionnaire.
UPON ARRIVAL: UNVACCINATED TRAVELLERS
Do I need to quarantine upon arrival in The Bahamas?
• No, there are currently no quarantine requirements for those travelling with approved Bahamas Travel
Health Visas.
Can I travel to every island in The Bahamas?
• All islands in The Bahamas are open to international and domestic arrivals, including commercial and
private aircraft, as well as private yachts and pleasure crafts.
• From time to time, the Government of The Bahamas may restrict travel into or out of certain islands.
o Travellers should check the status of their island destination before travelling, by visiting
Bahamas.com/travelupdates.
Are there additional testing or monitoring requirements for unvaccinated travellers on-island?
Yes, upon arrival, there are requirements in place for unvaccinated travelers to keep our visitors and residents
safe:
1. Day 5 Rapid Antigen Testing (if applicable based on length of stay and vaccination status): All
unvaccinated persons who enter The Bahamas or are travelling inter-island from Nassau & Paradise
Island, Grand Bahama Island, Abaco, Eleuthera or Harbour Island, and are staying in their destination for
longer than four (4) nights and five (5) days will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 antigen test.
o All visitors departing on or before Day 5 will not be required to obtain this test.
o The day of arrival is considered Day 1 of a person’s stay.
2. Daily Health Questionnaire: All unvaccinated persons travelling into and throughout The Bahamas will
be required to complete a short, daily Health Questionnaire.
o The questionnaire must be completed upon arrival and each day thereafter for up to 14 days, or
the duration of their stay, whichever is shorter.
§ This includes the day of departure, if travelling less than 14 days.
o Vaccinated travellers are exempt from completing the daily Health Questionnaire.
Any visitor who exhibits COVID symptoms upon arrival or at any time during their stay will be required to take a
rapid antigen test and receive a negative result before being permitted to continue with their vacation.
• If a person tests positive, they will be required to follow up with a COVID-19 PCR (swab) test.
Are there any testing requirements for hotel check-in?
• All unvaccinated persons arriving at a hotel or other accommodations in Nassau & Paradise Island and
Abaco (excluding Green Turtle Cay, Grand Cay, Man-O-War Cay and Elbow Cay), must present a negative
COVID-19 PCR (swab) test or a rapid antigen test to check-in as a guest or utilize facilities on the hotel
premises including restaurants, casinos, etc.
