BOULDER MODEL LEASE

The Boulder model lease attempts to equally support the legal obligations and rights and

responsibilities of landlords and tenants. It was created and reviewed by a committee representing

multiple interests including landlords, tenants, attorneys, and others.

It is intended to be used in conjunction with the Landlord-Tenant Handbook, published by the

Community Mediation and Resolution Center (bouldercolorado.gov/community-mediation-and-

resolution-center). Throughout, sections of the Landlord-Tenant Handbook are indicated to guide

users of the model lease to the corresponding sections.
